This is the third instalment in the Skylines film series by Liam O’Donnell. When a virus threatens to turn the now earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what’s left of humanity. VHQ worked in conjunction with Lipsync on this project, and as the main vendor, to create nearly 500 visual effects shots that included full CG spaceships, alien planets and landscapes, CG “shadow” creatures and aliens, gun extensions, crowds, set extensions, and a whole range of effects to tell the story.
