Tom Hanks stars in this latest film from the Director Paul Greengrass, alongside the emerging young talent of co-star Helena Zengel. A Civil War veteran agrees to deliver a girl, taken by the Kiowa people many years prior, to her aunt and uncle against her will. They travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home. The visual effects for this film were a true challenge as they had to blend realistically and seamlessly with the live action, and to this end VHQ created forest and field set extensions, muzzle flashes, dust kicks, hand “de-aging” effects as well as a “wet look” for dry costumes.
