ROTO and PREP ARTIST
Job Description
Roto and prep/paint artists are required to be able to create articulated rotoscope and garbage mattes, remove tracking markers, wires, seams and rigs. They must be able to do photo-real animated paint cleanup, working closely with compositors and supervisors.
This is typically an entry path into a career in compositing.
Job Requirements
- a good understanding of techniques and methods of roto and plate preparation and paint
- an excellent eye for detail
- a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and able to work well within a team under tight deadlines
- experience with node based compositing systems such as Nuke
